Honey Barbeque Teriyaki Chicken, Quick and Easy Recipe for Summer Barbeques or Fall Meals From The Oven. Finish Under the Broiler, Serve with You Favorite Side Dishes.


Honey Barbeque Teriyaki Chicken
2 whole chickens cut in 1/8's, fresh
seasoned salt to taste


Method #1 In large roasting pan, place chicken, seasoning, and honey barbeque teriyaki sauce. Roast uncovered 375* for 40-60 minutes. Baste often. May be finished under the broiler.

Method#2 Place chicken in pot and simmer until chicken is cooked, but ot overcooked. Remove chicken and place on barbeque grill. Baste with sauce. Grill both sides until desired doneness is achieved. Serve with salads, rice or fruit

Note:
If grilling outside, simmer the chicken in the teriyaki sauce until mostly cooked. Then remove chicken from sauce and grill evenly both sides. Goes great with potato or vegetable salad or any side dish.

 Sauce Recipe:
Honey Barbeque Teriyaki Sauce


2 c ketchup
1/2 c honey
1 tbsp yellow mustard
1 tsp season salt
1/2 onion small diced
1 tbsp garlic, fresh chopped
1/4 c brown sugar
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 c pineapple juice
2 tbsp italian herb seasoning
1 tsp ground rosemary
1/2 c red wine
1/8 c molasses
2 tbsp grape jelly

Combine ingredients in sauce pan, simmer for 1/2 hour or until reduced, stirring frequently. Be careful as sauce wants to splatter. Cover between stirs. Great for grilling.


This recipe can be used for beef or pork bbq sandwiches, or grilling any ribs , chops and chicken.
