Tana’s Country Style Chicken Kiev

- 4 chicken breast halves
- 1/4 c white wine, or apple juice
- 1/2 c sweet cream butter
- 1/2 to 1 c fine dry bread crumbs
- 1/4 c chopped green onion
- 1/4 c chopped fresh parsley (or dried)
- 2 tbs grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp basil leaves
- 1 tsp oregano leaves
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp salt
Heat oven to 375℉. Melt butter. Combine bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, basil, oregano, garlic salt and salt. Dip chicken breasts in melted butter, then coat with bread crumb mixture; reserve remaining butter. Place chicken in un greased pan. Bake for 50 – 60 minutes or chicken is fork tender (and juice runs clear). Meanwhile, add wine, green onion and parsley to reserved melted butter, and saute 5 – 10 minutes. when chicken is golden brown, pour butter sauce over chicken. Continue baking for 3 – 5 minutes.
