Southern Style Fried Chicken

Quick Fried Chicken Recipe Made Southern Style with Egg and Milk Batter Then Rolled in Crushed Saltines and spices. Call in the Kids, It’s Fried Chicken Tonight!

Fried Chicken Southern Style Ingredients

  • 2 chickens cut in 1/8’s
  • 1 sleeve saltines, crushed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c milk
  • pepper to taste
  • oil and pan for deep frying

Fried Chicken Southern Style Directions

Put eggs and milk in a bowl and blend together. In separate bowl put flour. In separate bowl put crushed saltines. The process is taking chicken, dip in flour, then dip in egg, then dip in crackers. Then place in deep fryer. Fry at 350℉ for 10-14 minutes. Check for doneness. Serve

Note: Use this same Quick recipe process for chicken strips, or fish. With fish, you may want to pan fry. May be served with potato wedges or any side dish or salad.
