Quick Chocolate Cake

  • 2 1/2 c flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/3 c veg oil
  • 1 1/2 c sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • pinch salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 c bakers cocoa
  • 1 1/2 – 2 c water add gradually

Easy Chocolate Cake Directions

Mix together in large bowl with electric mixer, sugar, oil, eggs, salt and vanilla. mix well for two minutes medium speed. In separate bowl combine flour, baking powder and soda. Mix together with whisk. Add to wet mixture with 1 c water and mix. add rest of water gradually until a thick pourable batter is achieved. Pour batter into greased 9X13 glass baking pan or in two round cake pans. Level and bake in pre-heated 350℉ oven for 25 minutes. Test with toothpick, remove from oven and let cool. Cover with frosting and serve.
