Cauliflower Broccoli au Gratin serves 8-121 lb broccoli
1 lb cauliflower
1/2 lb shredded
cheddar
1 c bread or cracker crumbs
1/4 stick butter(melted)
roux
Cut broccoli and cauliflower in bite size pieces and boil for 2-4 minutes. Don't cook all the way.
drain off water, set aside.
In sauce pan put 4 cups milk and bring to boil stirring constantly. Add roux and wisk
to desired thickness.
Put vegetables in baking dish. Add butter then pour cream sauce over vegetables, top with
cheese then cracker or bread crumbs. Bake 350* for 30-45 minutes. serve.
