Amy's Chocolate Scotcheroos

Makes 48 bars
1 c light corn syrup
1 c sugar
1 c peanut butter
6 cups crispy rice cereal
1 c semi sweet chocolate chips
1 c butterscotch
chips
Vegetable cooking spray
1. Place corn syrup and sugar into a large
saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until sugar dissolves and mixture begins to boil. Remove from heat.
Stir in peanut butter and mix well. Add crispy rice cereal and stir until well coated. Press mixture into a spray coated 13x9
pan. Set aside.
2. Melt chocolate and butterscotch chips together in a small saucepan over low
heat, stirring constantly. Spread evenly over cereal mixture. Let stand until firm. Cut into 1"x 2" bars when cooled.
Yields 48 bars.
