Tana's Country Style Chicken Kiev

4 chicken breast halves
1/4 c white wine, or apple juice
1/2 c sweet cream butter
1/2
to 1 c fine dry bread crumbs
1/4 c chopped green onion
1/4 c chopped fresh parsley (or dried)
2 tbs grated
parmesan cheese
1 tsp basil leaves
1 tsp oregano leaves
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/4 tsp salt
Heat oven to 375*. Melt butter. Combine bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, basil, oregano, garlic salt and salt. Dip chicken
breasts in melted butter, then coat with bread crumb mixture; reserve remaining butter. Place chicken in ungreased pan. Bake
for 50 - 60 minutes or chicken is fork tender (and juice runs clear). Meanwhile, add wine, green onion and parsley to reserved
melted butter, and saute 5 - 10 minutes. when chicken is golden brown, pour butter sauce over chicken. Continue baking for
3 - 5 minutes.
