Homemade banana bread is truly foolproof and will only take a few minutes to prepare.
Take advantage of variations to this recipe by adding nuts of your choice. 1 Hour in the oven and everyone is enjoying warm
3 ripe bananas
1 c sugar
1/2 c oil
2 c flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanills ext.
1 c chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
flour, baking soda, baking powder,and salt. Mix, set aside. Cream together in mixer, bananas, eggs, oil, milk, vanilla,
nuts, and sugar. Add dry ingredients and mix together, don't overmix. Pour batter in bread pan and bake in pre-heated
oven 350* for an hour or until toothpick tests dry. Remove from pan after a few minutes and let rest on rack . Slice and serve.
*To make banana cake add 1 cup water to above, pour into cake pan and bake 350* for 20-27 minutes.
